getting the hopes up ...

 

There are those days that one is just feeling content. For me this is one of these days and i hope weeks . Why, well a combination of things.

First of all it has been such a pleasure these last couple of days to meet up with some friends from de digital days. Discussing about what will be the next revolution just makes me smile.

it is not the what is said that makes me smile, it is how we as friends talk about it. all discussions seem to feel like a bunch of youngsters making plans for a wondeful adventureous trip. It fills me up with joy, the dreams i can share with the likes of Brenda, Olly or Philip ... and some other people i met during this week, quite refreshing for me ...

so that is not all that gets my hopes up. Also immenent change is adding to the joy. This week-end my brother, sister and I accompanied my mother for signing her appartment. She is selling the house and will move closer to the small city she lives in. At 66 she deserves a bit of peace instead of the constant hassle of maintaining a too big house with a too big garden and too far away from us all ....

Thirdly, we are going on a ski-holiday end of March. Not that this is next week, but in a way it feels like that : Next week Barcelona, the week after i spend in the Middle East, one week home, One week in the States, one week home and than i guess we're ready to go :-)...

but it every up there are of course also some downs ... and although i have 3 ups , the one down is putting it all back in balance. On the downer more news to follow soon .... can not tell yet ....

but nevertheless, also that cloud has a silver line .... all has to do with travelling ....
